The ozculture newsletter is a free email newsletter produced and distributed monthly by the Culture Portal (the Portal).
The newsletter features highlights of what's happening in Australia's culture sector for the month ahead.
The content of the newsletter is selected by the editors from the Portal's News pages, according to a monthly theme. Each issue aims to achieve a balance of news items from all states and territories.
Monthly themes for the Portal are developed around significant cultural anniversaries and events, such as ANZAC Day, NAIDOC Week, the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, Wattle Day, state design weeks, the National Architecture Awards, dance weeks, and major exhibitions such as VIVID, Modern Times, Australian Surrealism and Australian Tonalists.
The monthly theme is also featured on the Portal's home page, with an event, a website and selected Australian Stories.
